Stay Together If You Can!

That’s the best piece of advice I can give to you guys on the verge of divorce. There is very much an enemy out there, intent on destroying your family. And it’s not your spouse.

There is No Dearth of Divorces for Divorce Attorneys; Stop Feeding Them

After 24 years of handling people’s divorces, I have absolutely no qualms about telling people to stay together.  Divorce won’t solve your problems.  More likely than not, it will create more problems.

Obviously this statement does not apply to abusive marriages.  If you are being physically abused, seek help immediately. Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline now.  800-799-7233

Mental abuse also!  BUT with a caveat: “mental abuse” is frequently tossed around, along with  “narcissisim“, “toxic”, “gaslighting”.  These words are meaningless.  Stop calling everyone a narcissist.

Non-Abusive Marriages: Stay Together

This blog post is directed to all of you couples out there who are suffering a cold season in marriage.

Divorce is not a good solution.  It is not a solution at all!

If you think marriage is hard, ask anyone who is divorced…

DIVORCE IS HARDER!

Hang on, the sun will come out. Get counseling. Surround yourself with old people who are still married. Pray for each other. Pray together. Go to church. Read the Bible.
